Tsvaga — Privacy Policy

Tsvaga ("we," "the app") connects people who want to buy a product ("requesters") with nearby stores ("vendors") who can fulfill it. This page explains what information we collect and how it's used.

Information we collect

• Account details: your name and phone number, used to sign in and identify you.
• Location: when you drop a pin to search for nearby stores, or when a vendor sets their store's location. This is used only to match requests with nearby vendors within your chosen radius.
• Requests and orders: what you ask for, delivery or pickup preference, delivery address, and (if you choose to provide them) a recipient name/phone different from your own account.
• Messages: chat messages between a requester and a specific vendor about an offer, visible only to those two parties.
• Subscription and payment management: vendor subscriptions, priority ranking, and advertising are managed on a separate website, the Tsvaga Help Center, rather than inside the app itself. Payments are made independently via EcoCash, and only a self-reported amount/reference is stored — we never see or store your EcoCash PIN, card details, or banking credentials.
• Push notification tokens: if you enable notifications, your browser/device registers a subscription token so we can alert you about nearby requests or order updates.
• Ratings and reviews: left after a delivered order, visible publicly against the vendor.

How information is used

Solely to operate the marketplace: matching requests to nearby vendors, enabling communication about an order, tracking delivery/pickup status, and improving vendor trust through ratings. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Who can see what

A vendor only sees a requester's product request, delivery details, and contact info once they have an active subscription and have responded to that specific request. Chat messages are private between the requester and the one vendor in that conversation — not visible to other vendors.

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time, in two ways:

• In the app: under your account menu (near "Sign out"), select "Delete my account" and confirm with your password.
• On the web, without the app installed: visit tsvaga.app/delete-account.html and confirm with your phone number and password.

Deleting your account permanently removes your name, phone number, and password — you will not be able to log in again, and this cannot be undone. If you have a vendor listing, it is taken offline and its business name removed. Any notification subscriptions tied to your account are deleted outright.

Past orders and reviews are kept on record with your personal details removed, rather than deleted outright, because the other party to that transaction (the requester or vendor you dealt with) has a legitimate need to retain that history — for example, a vendor's review history, or a requester's past order for support purposes. No information that identifies you personally remains attached to these records after deletion.

Data retention

Account and order history is retained for as long as your account is active, to provide order history, ratings, and support. See "Account deletion" above for how to remove your personal information.
